Motorcycles come in a variety of shapes and sizes depending on the task you’re trying to accomplish. Some days, you might wish to go fast and tackle the twisties while other days you may want to set out on a journey that could span a thousand miles and require prior planning. Sport bikes and tourers are perfect tools for accomplishing these respective tasks. However, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to do a little bit of both? For this task, the sport touring motorcycle was developed.
We’re holding another fun and informative tech seminar where we’ll be joined by our affiliate club, DOC-Detroit, to take a deep dive into the world of sport touring. We’ll discuss what exactly it is that makes a sport touring motorcycle a sport tourer, the must-have accessories and features of sport tourers, and then hand things over to DOC-Detroit to have them share their experience and discuss a number of topics, ending with a Q&A session.
