This piston was mounted on the Desmosedici GP 2016 engine. It can be said that, of the entire engine, the piston is undoubtedly the most stressed component. During the race it is subjected to pressures exceeding 100 bar inside the combustion chamber, moving at an average speed of over 27.5 m/s. The piston itself weights 154 g.

As this component is subject to oxidation, we advise frequent lubrication to maintain its appearance. The item may only be used for exhibition purposes.
